That is pretty funny… and a good example of why wikipedia is not a good source. :)

that was pretty funny :) I never use wikipedia anymore

I generally don’t like to use wikipedia, but I don’t think it is that unreliable if you are just looking for basic facts. Once you start getting a little more specific, then it becomes a problem. That’s why you need to check sources with other sites. Besides, wikipedia removes any overly false information.

ahha :) that really shows not to use wikipedia for stuff; anyone can just go on it and edit anything.

That is a good comic to show wikipedia is not a good source and it will hopefully stop people from using it. I know i won’t use it.

That’s funny, Mrs Buell. You should post more comics like this on Fridays just to brighten up the day.

wikipedia is an unvalid source and u proved it with this post. I love how u put funny posts as well as one about ur class

haha, wikipedia is good if you need quick information. but if you are doing a research paper or anything large, it is very unreliable. There have been instances, such as in spanish, where someone made a powerpoint presentation and just copy and pasted from wikipedia. their information was completely wrong because somebody edited the site and they didnt read it over.

this is very true. wiki answers = bad ! :)

Yea, it can be done, I remember in 6th grade Nikki got my name in some random atricle by editing it and replacing the person’s name with my own. But I still love wikipedia for a quick answer or a brief overview of something. BTW key words: CLINTON, ADMINISTRATION, found that a little ironic
