  For the record I was following CNN a month before I was following Ashton Kutcher.

  Twitter is such a big site now, it seems as though everyone is using it. The celebrities would be most interesting to follow because you assume that their lives are more exciting than a normal person’s. But I didn’t think that Ashton Kutcher would be the first person to reach a million followers. Like you said, craziness.

  I agree with Megan. Twitter has become so big. I see it everywhere now. I didn’t think Ashton Kutcher would be the first person to reach a million followers either.

  of all people ashton was the first to get 1 million followers come on thats just ridiculous

  I knew Ashton was the first to reach 1 million followers, but i think it was beacuse he was the first to really bring twitter into the light. If it was another celebrity like i dont know anyone they too would probaly get over 1 million views too. Twitter is so big right now that it seems weird if you do not have one and arre not following some one. Everyone is jummping on the twitter fan wagon, has anyone here?

  I agree, twitter has become such a big site. I heard on the news that through twitter Demi Moore was able to save some woman’s life. What happened was this lady (I forget the name) twittered to Demi Moore saying that she was going to kill herself because of all of the stress in her life (she was going through a divorce and the economy was causing a lot of stress). Anyway, Demi Moore responded with “I hope you’re joking.” And the people, who supervise the twitter site, read the comment and went to her house just in time before she committed suicide. So in the eyes of many this new twitter site may be bad, but in my opinion, I think that it’s a useful piece of technology that could change the world for the better.

  It’s funny, as soon as you started talking about twitter in class it became a major site. I’ve never heard anyone talk about using it until recently. I’ll have to make an account some time and follow you.

  I guess we should all pay more attention in class. You seem to be right about Twitter being the next big thing. I agree with Gianna, none of us had it heard about it til you brought it up. You’ll proabably get to that million followers pretty soon…

  mrs buell its ok if everyone in our school had twitter then you would be the first person to 1 million followers. twitters becoming so big i think that soon enough everyone will want one like facebook.. then something better will come out and twitter will just be another site forgotten about.

  the first time i heard about twitter was in magazine saying you could be friends with ashton kutcher on there. i think its funny how these sites become so big. they keep coming out with new ones and its like by the end you have a bunch of sites like myspace , facebook , twitter , etc ..

  is twitter becoming the next face book or myspace? it seems as though people tend to migrate from social network to social network as new ones come out. the kid who invented facebook got 15 billion dollars for rights to the site… maybe i should get rich off a site like this

  i think its funny how everytime a new site comes out people go ight on a forget about the last one. People just go for the new big thing and right now twtter is in i guess.
