History and My Story

I came across the Ricky Gervais video while on another website that didn’t have the embed code…so off to YouTube I went…and I discovered many video interview clips produced by an organization called Big Think who describe themselves as a “global forum connecting people and ideas.”  You can also see their work on You Tube.   Interview subjects range from politicians to economists to authors, actors and musicians. You can hear the opinions of Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy and also Moby and Wyclef Jean. Several people are asked to answer the same question–for example, “Does the free market corrode morality?” Go to the sites linked above and view some of the responses.

This clip from Chester Finn an education expert (see bio) speaks to some of the same questions you have been posing to me about your high school educations.  Thoughts?  Comments?
