If a roll of tp costs one million zim dollars than it makes sense, right?

Couldn’t that sort of thing possibly happen in the U.S. It was officially announced today that we are in a recession. It may not quite be to the extent in Zimbabwe but if the U.S. dollar keeps losing value, couldn’t we end up paying 15-20 dollars for a roll of toilet paper? It makes me wonder what changes are going to take place when Obama becomes president. Where will we be two years from now or when we graduate. How much will we be paying for gas when we get our first cars, or will we not even use gasoline due to an outrageous cost? The future is unpredictable. I’m very curious to see what happens.

Is this saying this because they can’t get the toilets broken because it costs so much? And i find it weird how people would just money and cloth instead of buying toilet paper.. shows how well that economy is doing.

Why would people use zim dollars in the bathroom? If there government isn’t working out right now why don’t they just start over like the French?

Yeah, I think it makes sense I mean if one million zim dollars = tp then why wouldn’t you just buy the tp ? And it’s kind of like the same in the end because the zim dollars are the equalivant of the tp… right?

At this point I would find some kind of substitute; $1,000,000 for a roll of toilet paper thats riduclious.

I’m going to say that if people would pay the money for the toilet paper, less people would have AIDS.

It’s pretty horrible that toilet paper costs 1,000,000 Zim dollars. It’s actually a lot worse that, despite the prices, public bathrooms aren’t allowing the usage of any other materials as toilet paper. I guess the people of Zimbabwe will have to go to the bathroom before they leave their houses, huh? At least they can improvise without it being against the rules.

I agree with Matt’s comment. In the U.S. our economy is horrible right now, and inflation is going up. I mean a roll of toilet paper won’t cost a million dollars, but like Matt said it could be as high as 20 dollars. If the U.S. can’t help Zimbabwe, then another country with a better economy should step in to help.

If people werent allowed to put certain items in the toilets why wouldnt they just let them do it they have enough monney to pay 1,000,000 Zims for toilet paper so wouldnt thay be able to paty to get toilets fixed if they get broken? That confuses me……… wouldnt they lose all there money just paying for toilet paper? That is weird but thats their economy.

I don’t think anyone realized but they do not have that sign up because those would clog/ break the toilet it is so they can get the people to buy the imported products aka get the economy back to normal.

1,000,000.00 ZMK = 219.7802 USD
It costs about 220$ just for a roll of toilet paper. That shows how horrible the economy is… obviously it is due to how they run the government and its geographial location. Sadly to say there are most likely many countries just as bad or worst.

About what Matt said, I dont think that Obama will get us out of the recession in his first four years. It took a long time to get into it and i think it will also take a long time to get out of it. Its a big job for a brand new president and I think that the people will criticize his job as president and he wont get re-elected. He will do all the work and the new president coming in will finish off what Obama started.

Thats nuts! There government is terrible, and it shows how bad the ecomony is. Its crazzy when people are paying 1 million dollers for a roll of tp, and when they use there own money as it.. The zimm money must be worthless.
